On the 20th January, the Geneva Blockchain Congress addressed the challenges of adopting the blockchain in the health sector. Building on this technology, electronic patient record systems face several obstacles. This is reason enough to motivate the HUG to carry out pilot projects in other directions, notably with the start-up company Wecan for the traceability of surgical acts.
